Why we started
Most pilgrims arrive at King Abdulaziz International after a long flight, often with children, elderly parents and a week of luggage, and then negotiate transport at the kerb in a language they may not speak. The price is unclear, the vehicle is whatever turns up, and the first hour in Saudi Arabia is spent on logistics instead of the journey ahead.
Makkah Madinah Rides exists to remove that hour. You agree the vehicle, the route and the fare before you fly. The driver is waiting when you land.
How we work
Every booking is private. You are not sharing a vehicle with strangers, and your luggage stays in one place from pickup to drop-off. We quote in writing before you commit, and the figure in that quote is the figure you pay for the journey as described.
We assign vehicles on passengers and luggage together, not headcount alone — the most common cause of a difficult transfer is four adults and four large cases in a car sized for four adults.
Licensing and insurance
Makkah Madinah Rides operates under transport licence no. PENDING, issued by the Transport General Authority. Vehicles are insured for passenger carriage and documentation is available on request.
